Carla Potter Joins Cassels Brock
September 26, 2013Carla Potter is an associate in the Financial Services Group at Cassels Brock in Toronto. Her practice focuses on corporate financing matters, representing both lenders and borrowers involved in domestic and cross-border lending transactions and corporate reorganizations.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Carla was both a summer student and articling student at the firm. Carla is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant with experience working at national accounting firms in both an assurance and business advisory capacity.
Carla completed her J.D. degree from Queens University. She previously obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lakehead University. At Queens Carla received the David Sabbath course prize in Trusts. In addition, Carla was involved in the moot court program, acted as a research assistant and mentored students as both an international and upper year buddy.
