Debra Newell Joins Paliare Roland

Paliare Roland is delighted to welcome Debra Newell as an associate to our firm. Debra was called to the bar in June 2011 and comes to us after articling with a leading litigation firm in Toronto. Her areas of practice will include administrative law, labour and employment law, commercial litigation, professional discipline matters, class actions, and civil litigation.
Debra graduated from Windsor Law in June 2010, and thereafter articled with a leading litigation firm in Toronto. Prior to attending law school, Debra worked for several years as a litigation law clerk at Paliare Roland during which time she assisted on a number of notable cases, including as commission staff for Justice Stephen Goudge on the Inquiry into Pediatric Forensic Pathology in Ontario and as part of the legal team representing the Ontario Provincial Police Association and its members at the Ipperwash Inquiry.
Debra is a member of The Advocates Society, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
