Glen Yamashita joins Fasken Martineau
November 13, 2015Glen Yamashita is an associate in Fasken Martineau’s Business Law section and is engaged in a broad corporate/commercial practice. Glen has been involved in a variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions and debt & equity financings.
Glen is a graduate of the joint JD/JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. During law school, Glen was selected for the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, was named to the Dean’s list and was awarded the Canadian & American Dual J.D. Program Award. Glen also volunteered as a case-worker and litigator for Community Legal Aid Windsor and was elected as the Vice President for the Dual JD Program.
Prior to law school, Glen worked in the strategic planning group at Vale Inco and as a community support worker at Community Living. Glen also co-founded and continues to act as Editor-In-Chief of AWmusic, a Toronto based music website which was nominated by CBC3 for the best Canadian music website.
