Hicks Morley Adds Daryl Seupersad as WSIB Counsel
July 17, 2024Managing Partner Craig Rix is pleased to announce that Daryl Seupersad has joined Hicks Morley as WSIB counsel.

Daryl has built a wide-ranging and robust practice focused on providing expert advice and representation to employers on all aspects of managing workers’ compensation claims and appeals. His commitment to excellence in advocacy and leadership in the field of workers’ compensation law will further enable us to serve our clients as they navigate complex matters in this area,” said Mr. Rix.
Mr. Seupersad earned his LL.B. from Queen’s University and was called to the bar in 2004. In 2023, he received the prestigious Ron Ellis Award for Excellence in Worker’s Compensation Law from the Ontario Bar Association. Prior to joining Hicks Morley, he worked at a boutique labour and employment firm where his practice was devoted to assisting employers with their workers’ compensation issues across different industries and jurisdictions. Before joining private practice, Daryl worked at an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Development, where he specialized in providing representation and advice to employers in workers’ compensation matters. He has also taught labour and employment law at George Brown College.
