Michael Podolny Joins Osler’s Toronto Office
October 1, 2013Michael practises corporate and commercial law as part of the Financial Services Group. He joined Osler as a summer student in 2011 and articled with the firm in 2012-2013. During his articling, Michael spent several months on secondment at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC).
Michael obtained his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he received several academic awards and served as president of the Osgoode Business Law Society. Prior to law school, he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business, specializing in finance and accounting. During his business studies, he completed two internships as an auditor in the Financial Services Group of Deloitte & Touche LLP in Toronto.
Michael has also worked as research assistant to Professor Emeritus and Senior Scholar Garry D. Watson Q.C. at Osgoode and Professor Theodore Peridis at Schulich.
