Patrick Copeland joins Aird & Berlis LLP
September 14, 2012Patrick Copeland is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. He was a summer student and an articling student at the firm prior to returning as an associate.
Patricks practice will include corporate and commercial litigation, including labour and employment law, quasi-criminal regulatory matters and financial services litigation.
Patrick obtained a B.A. from McMaster University and both his M.A. and J.D. at the University of Western Ontario. While at Western, Patrick received the Bernard Wolf Memorial Scholarship (awarded to a first year student showing exceptional promise), the J.S.D. Tory Writing Prize for excellence in writing and legal research, and the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize for academic excellence (awarded to the top 15 students in the graduating class).
