Rae Christen Jeffries LLP congratulates Matthew Canning
October 18, 2021Rae Christen Jeffries LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew Canning, who joined the firm as an articling student in the Fall of 2019, returned to the firm as an associate lawyer in September 2020. Over the past two years, Matthew has skillfully provided thoughtful and strategic advice to both public and private sector employers on a wide variety of labour and employment issues.
Before joining the firm, Matthew earned his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University where he clerked at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and was awarded the Judge Fran Potts Award in Law. Prior to law school, Matthew attended St. Mary’s University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology.
