Stockwoods welcomes Emily Quail
May 22, 2019Emily joined Stockwoods as an associate in 2019. She was called to the bar in 2018 following summer and articling positions at a major Toronto full-service firm. She brings experience in a wide range of litigation files including class actions, debt enforcement, insolvency, product liability, employment, and labour. Emily has also gained valuable insight and skill assisting in a broad range of corporate, commercial and regulatory files, including assisting clients with corporate and commercial transactions and regulatory issues in the energy, telecommunications, and transportation sectors.
Emily graduated from the University of Windsor with a J.D. She was heavily involved in the community at Windsor Law. She participated in a number of moots during her time at Windsor Law, and was a finalist at the Hicks Morley Labour Moot in 2016. She was an editor at the Windsor Law Review of Legal and Social Issues, and served as a faculty representative for the student law society where she served on the Promotions and Tenure Committee and founded the Employment Committee.
Prior to attending law school Emily earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of King’s College and the University of Dalhousie.
