Wendy advises a wide range of clients on privacy information and governance issues, including clients in the life sciences, financial services, education, retail, food and consumer goods sectors. She provides privacy advice in connection with corporate transactions, outsourcing arrangements, trans-border data flows, cloud computing, and online and offline marketing and advertising activities. Wendy also practises in the areas of food, drug, cosmetic and medical device law and regulation where she advises clients with respect to licensing requirements, product claims, and packaging and labelling. In the area of marketing and advertising, she advises clients on Canada’s anti-spam law, the CRTC’s Do Not Call rules, misleading advertising, and contests and promotions.
