Cast a Vote in Toronto Region for E Patrick Shea

On-line polls in the Law Society of Ontario Bencher election open on April 15, 2019 and close on April 30, 2019. In total, 40 Benchers will be elected to govern the LSO for the next 4 years.  Each lawyer in Ontario can vote for 20 candidates in Toronto Region and 20 candidates outside of Toronto.

There are important issues facing the LSO and a continuation of the status quo for 4 more years is not an option.  The necessary change can, however, only happen if you exercise your right to vote and you vote based on the candidates’ platforms rather than only name recognition driven by advertising. There are various places where you can find the candidates’ platforms, and I encourage you to review those platforms, and think about what you want the LSO to look like and do going forward before you vote.
