Chantelle Dallas joins Gillian Hnatiw & Co.

Gillian Hnatiw & Co. is delighted to welcome Chantelle Dallas to the firm.

Chantelle is passionate about client-focused advocacy and access to justice. She currently practices civil litigation in the areas of health law, administrative law, professional regulation and liability, and employment law, and uses the law to combat gender-based violence in all its forms. Chantelle takes a professional yet empathetic approach to representing her clients and enhancing the client experience.

Prior to joining Gillian Hnatiw & Co., Chantelle gained civil litigation experience at boutique firms in the areas of real estate law, class actions and personal injury. Chantelle completed her articles in-house at the Lawyers’ Professional Indemnity Company (LAWPRO) where she assisted counsel with litigation, negotiation and legal research, related to solicitors’ risk management and liability across various areas of law.

During her studies at McGill’s Faculty of Law, Chantelle worked at the Social Equity and Diversity Education office at McGill and volunteered for the Centre for Research Action on Race Relations, where she advocated for victims of discrimination before the administrative bodies/tribunals responsible for human rights and police ethics in Quebec.

Chantelle strongly believes in the power of the law as a tool for social justice. She is a proud member of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the McGill Law’s Young Alumni Board.
