Fogler, Rubinoff LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin Shipley has joined the firm as a Partner in our Intellectual Property group. Kevin’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and IP portfolio strategy and management. Kevin also has significant experience in large-scale freedom-to-operate and product launch/clearance projects as well as aggressive patent portfolio mining and offensive patent filing projects. He also opines on patent validity and infringement, and provides advice relating to IP licenses, confidentiality agreements and other IP-related agreements.

Working closely with our Corporate and Technology groups, Kevin will provide integrated, business-focused IP and strategic advisory services to start-ups, scaling and established innovation-driven companies. Kevin’s philosophy of using intangible assets as a tool to achieve commercial success guides his approach to IP strategy, identifying commercially relevant innovations and securing registered IP rights, and leveraging and licensing IP assets for commercial advantage.
