We are pleased to announce that Omar Nassif has joined Gilbert’s as a partner and head of the Life Sciences Group! Omar has more than 25 years of experience as a patent prosecutor. Omar comes to Gilbert’s from an international law firm that is highly ranked in intellectual property. While there Omar represented life sciences and other clients in original patent drafting, domestic and international patent prosecution, patent portfolio management and patent litigation support in the following industries:  pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, water treatment, oil & gas and related industries. Omar has extensive experience in regulatory aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, IP licensing and IP due diligence.
