HHR is pleased to welcome Isabelle Laliberté

Isabelle is an associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP practicing civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Isabelle served as a senior policy advisor to the Attorney General of Canada and Minister of Justice, whom she advised on a range of legal and constitutional matters.

Isabelle clerked for Justice Malcolm Rowe of the Supreme Court of Canada and completed her articles as a judicial law clerk to Justice Stephen W. Hamilton at the Court of Appeal of Québec.

Isabelle earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Ottawa, where she received multiple awards, including the Right Honourable Brian Dickson Prize for the highest standing in the National Program (J.D./L.L.L.). She went on to obtain a Master of Law (L.L.M.) from the University of Cambridge, graduating with First Class distinction. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

During law school, Isabelle worked as a research assistant for two professors and volunteered at a legal clinic dedicated to serving to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Born and raised in Montréal, Isabelle can practice in both English and French.
