Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Alia Rashid has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office. Alia represents private and public sector employers on a wide range of labour, employment and human rights issues, including grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, labour disputes, occupational health and safety, human rights and accommodation and employment standards. Alia summered and articled with the firm before returning as an associate in 2020.
Alia received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. Before attending law school, Alia received a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours, Dean’s List) from the University of Waterloo.
