Hicks Morley Welcomes Associate Nigel McKechnie

Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Nigel McKechnie has joined the firm’s Ottawa office as an associate. Nigel, who practises in both English and French, is experienced in providing employers with advice on a wide variety of matters in both unionized and non-unionized contexts and in litigating matters before the courts, boards of arbitration and administrative tribunals.

Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Nigel gained extensive and varied experience practising labour and employment law at a full-service firm as well as a management-side labour and employment firm. Additionally, he has previously represented the employee/union side, which gives him a unique perspective when advising employers and resolving workplace disputes.
