Hicks Morley Welcomes Associate Ryan Markesic

Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Ryan Markesic has joined the firm as a labour and employment lawyer in our Toronto office.

Ryan advises employers on a variety of matters relating to litigation, employment law and labour relations. He is an advocate at heart and has appeared before tribunals, arbitrators and courts on behalf of employers. He is called to the Bars of Ontario, Yukon and British Columbia, as well as the state of New York.

Ryan brings a client-centred approach to his practice of law by putting himself into his clients’ shoes and viewing the legal issue from their perspective. He enjoys getting to know his clients and developing an understanding of their business objectives and needs to best solve their legal issues and provide sound advice.

Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Ryan worked at a boutique labour and employment law firm in Vancouver where he advised employers on all workplace matters. He was also a judicial law clerk at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
