KMB Law Welcomes Eric Sherkin to Our Toronto Office

KMB Law is proud to announce that Eric Sherkin has joined the firm as a Partner in our Toronto office.

Eric joins our Litigation practice group, bringing extensive experience in complex commercial disputes and a strong reputation within Ontario’s legal community.

With a broad litigation practice, Eric represents clients in matters involving corporate and shareholder disputes, fraud, professional negligence, defamation, debt recovery, and other complex commercial issues. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal and Divisional Court, and has significant experience obtaining urgent and time-sensitive remedies, including Mareva, Norwich, and Anton Piller orders.

Throughout his career, Eric has earned recognition for his work in litigation, including being named a “Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation and a “Standout Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters. He is also a co-author of Creditors’ Remedies in Ontario and has been featured in publications and media outlets including CBC, CP24, and the Law Times.

Beyond his practice, Eric is actively involved in the legal community. He serves on The Advocates’ Society’s Mid-Career Advocates Standing Committee and is co-chair of its litigation-focused podcast, Friends Who Argue. He has also contributed to legal education as both a chair and speaker at professional development programs.
