Monique Sassi Joins Cassels Brock

Monique Sassi is an associate in the Financial Services Group at Cassels Brock in Toronto. Monique was both a summer and articling student at the firm, and during that time she gained valuable corporate and finance experience with the Financial Services, Advocacy, and Securities practice groups. Monique has assisted on a variety of matters including a financial securitization, a non-insolvency restructuring with tranche financing, an initial public offering for a real estate investment trust and an acquisition by a leading Canadian insurance provider.

Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Monique was accepted to complete her final semester of law school at NYU Law School, where she completed specialized courses in US Banking Regulation and Commercial Sales. Prior to studying law in Canada, Monique obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Law and Financial Accounting at the University of the Witswaterand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
