Rae Christen Jeffries Welcomes Newest Associate, Piraveena Ganesarasa

Piraveena Ganesarasa comes from a broad litigation background, having spent the early years of her legal career at a national full-service firm in Toronto. Piraveena advises private and public sector employers in all areas of labour and employment law.

Piraveena completed her J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, she was a Division Leader at the Community Legal Aid Services Programme (working in both the administrative and criminal law divisions) and summered at the Ministry of Attorney General, Crown Law Office (Civil).

Prior to law school, Piraveena obtained a B.A. (with high distinction) in Public Policy from the University of Toronto and was recognized with the Outstanding Student award at her graduation. Piraveena was called to the bar in 2023.
