Christopher A. Guaiani joins Smart & Biggar, Canada’s leading firm for intellectual property law, adding to the depth and breadth of the firm’s IP litigation practice in Montreal.
Christopher is a client-focused litigator with civil and commercial expertise. He assists small to large corporations, operating locally and internationally, in a variety of contentious patent, trademark and copyright cases. He helps clients make well-informed decisions in industries like consumer products, luxury goods, apparel, cannabis, digital media and e-commerce. He is proficient in all aspects of trial preparation before the Superior Court of Quebec and the Federal Court, and the preparation and hearing of appeals in the Federal Court of Appeal.
Christopher obtained his Bachelor of Science from Concordia University where he graduated with distinction. In 2013, he received the Science College Academic Achievement Award from the Faculty of Arts and Science.
