Smart & Biggar is delighted to welcome Hyun Woo Choi, who joins the firm as a new associate in our patents group. Hyun will work alongside our expert patent lawyers and agents to assist our clients in protecting their innovations.

Hyun has a practice focused on patent drafting and prosecution in a wide range of technical fields including communications, electronics, computer software and mechanical devices. He will work with our teams in the firm’s Ottawa and Vancouver offices.

Hyun draws on his technical expertise and experience working as a software engineer to understand his client’s needs and business objectives. He conducts patent counselling, opinions and advice in a multitude of legal matters in IP law.
