Torkin Manes Welcomes New Associate Robert Barbiero

Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that Robert Barbiero has joined the firm as an associate in our Litigation Group.

An associate in our Litigation Group, Robert practises in all areas of litigation with an emphasis on commercial law and professional liability.

He has worked on a variety of matters including the representation of regulated health professionals before the various committees of the numerous colleges regulating health professionals in Ontario, contractual and shareholder disputes, fraud, and real estate litigation matters.

To date, Robert has appeared before masters of the Superior Court of Justice, and in various matters before the Small Claims Court and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

During law school, Robert served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law and International Relations.
