Tyr LLP is excited to welcome Partner Amy Grenon to its newly founded intellectual property litigation practice

Amy Grenon is business-minded trial lawyer with expertise in complex intellectual property and life science disputes. She joins Tyr LLP from Aird & Berlis LLP.

Amy practices in all areas of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on complex multijurisdictional IP litigation. Leveraging her degree in biochemistry, Amy has represented numerous life science and pharmaceutical companies in patent infringement and impeachment actions, including proceedings brought pursuant to the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. Amy has defended against several claims for damages pursuant to the Regulations and represented clients recovering patent infringement damages.  Amy has a deep understanding of how the pharmaceutical industry operates and its regulatory constraints. Amy also guides clients on branding and copyright issues and represents clients in oppositions, infringement, and passing-off proceedings, as well as domain name and social media-related disputes.

Amy strives to provide clients with a business-minded approach to litigation. She is also recognized as a leading lawyer in IP and life sciences including in Lexpert, IAM Patent 1000 and World Trademark Review 1000.
