WEL Partners welcomes associate Michael J. Marra

WEL Partners is pleased to announce Michael J. Marra has joined its team as an associate lawyer.

Michael J. Marra is a new Associate Lawyer at WEL Partners. Mike provided ongoing advisory and mentoring services to WEL Partners in 2017 and is excited to rejoin the firm on a full-time basis and bring his experience to the estate litigation and elder law field.

Mike brings thirty seven years of court room and negotiation experience to the firm. He operated his own family law practice in the Western GTA for twenty years. His practice consisted of court based resolution of financial issues, including equalization and division of property and pensions, spousal support, child support, support enforcement, inter-jurisdictional support as well as occasional high conflict parenting disputes. From December 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018 he worked for the Department of Justice – Legal Aid Commission in the Northwest Territories primarily providing family law services to the indigenous communities. Mike has been a frequent speaker at Professional Development Seminars and Conferences for the family law bar in Southern Ontario.
