Wildeboer Dellelce LLP welcomes Melissa Smith as an associate.
Melissa is an associate practising primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law.
Melissa received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University, specializing in English Literature.
During her time in law school, Melissa was a caseworker at the low-income legal clinic, Downtown Legal Services. Melissa also served on the executive committee for her school’s Women in Law group and was an editor of Ultra Vires, the faculty’s student newspaper.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa taught an LSAT class for a leading LSAT test preparation company and worked as a research associate at a start-up company that used predictive modeling to develop tax software.
