Wildeboer Dellelce LLP is pleased to welcome Sofia Sugumar as a lawyer to the firm. Sofia practises primarily in the areas of corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law. Sofia first joined the firm as a summer student in 2021 and articled with the firm in 2022-2023.

Sofia completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University. During law school, Sofia developed an interest in technology and privacy. She worked as a summer research assistant for the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society. Sofia later ran the University of Toronto’s legal hackathon; an event where interdisciplinary teams of law, engineering and computer science students create the beginnings of a legal technology start-up.
