Labour Associate

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Lawyer to join our Labour Department. The successful candidate will have three to six years of demonstrated experience advising unions and/or employees on a broad range of labour relations and employment matters. The ideal candidate will:

• Possess excellent drafting and organizational skills;
• Have experience with union certification, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, employment standards, human rights and occupational health and safety;
• Advocacy experience representing clients before labour tribunals and arbitrators;
• Work well in a highly collaborative and professional team setting; and
• Have a demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships.

Employment law experience is an asset.

The successful candidate will receive a salary commensurate with experience ranging from $135,000 to $190,000 along with health benefits and a pension.
