Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP Welcomes Janice Finney as an Associate

Janice Finney joined Thomas Gold Pettingill in 2019 after completing her articles with a prominent personal injury firm, where she gained experience in tort and statutory accident benefits claims. Janice’s diverse practice focuses on defending complex insurance matters involving occupiers’ liability, product liability, and motor vehicle insurance claims. She also represents insurers in claims under CGL and homeowners’ policies, as well as subrogation matters.

Janice obtained her J.D. from the University of Ottawa, graduating Cum Laude in 2018. While at law school, Janice was actively involved with the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program and represented low-income Ottawa residents and students as a caseworker with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic. Janice previously obtained her B.A. (Honours) in Psychology from York University.
