Lauren Coles has joined BD&P as an associate in the employment and labour group

Lauren Coles has joined Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP’s employment and labour group as an associate.

Lauren was called to the Alberta Bar in 2019. Her practice involves advising employees and employers across industries on a multitude of employment and labour matters. She has experience advising on workplace investigations, severance negotiations, wrongful dismissal claims, and termination and lay-off strategies. Lauren is also accomplished in drafting workplace policies, employment handbooks, and employment and contractor agreements.

Commenting on her new role, Lauren said: “I was drawn to BD&P because of its reputation as one of Calgary’s preeminent law firms, its collegial employment and labour law team, and its commitment to delivering complex legal services to its clients.
