Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Avleen Banwait has joined the firm’s Toronto office as an associate.

Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Avleen Banwait has joined the firm’s Toronto office as an associate. She offers advice and representation to employers and management in the public and private sectors on a wide range of labour and employment matters. Her work includes grievance arbitrations, wrongful dismissals, human rights and accommodation, collective bargaining, and workplace health and safety.

Avleen obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. Throughout law school, she actively participated in moots and acted as the president of the Women of Colour Legal Alliance of Windsor. Prior to law school, Avleen obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science from Western University.
