Maggie is a thoughtful and passionate advocate. She approaches legal problems with an open mind and a commitment to thoroughness in her research.
Maggie is developing a broad litigation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Maggie clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal. She gained valuable insight into appellate advocacy and diverse matters of federal jurisdiction, including administrative law, class actions, and competition law.
Maggie received her J.D. with distinction from the University of New Brunswick. She was a Lord Beaverbrook scholarship recipient and was awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s medal after achieving the highest standing in each year. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the UNB Law Journal, participated in a judicial internship at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, and worked as a research assistant with a focus on defamation law. She was also a member of UNB Law’s intramural hockey and volleyball teams.
Maggie earned a B.A. in Political Science and English from Mount Allison University, where she graduated with the highest general average in the Faculty of Arts. She was an active volunteer with the English Society and the Best Buddies Program of Canada.
