Nora Osbaldeston to lead Multilaw’s Americas Region

Miller Thomson is pleased to share that Nora Osbaldeston, Partner in the National Financial Services group, has been elected Americas Regional Chair at Multilaw’s annual global meeting in New Delhi. With this election, she also joins the Multilaw Management Committee. Nora has been an integral part of its leadership since joining the Board in 2016, including serving as Chair of the Finance Committee, where her guidance and stewardship have been invaluable.

Nora has extensive experience across many industries and sectors, acting for domestic and foreign financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a variety of domestic and international syndicated and bilateral financings. She has held several key leadership roles at Miller Thomson, including Regional Managing Partner (Ontario), Managing Partner of the Toronto and Vaughan offices, National Specialty Lead of the Financial Services Group.

Beyond her legal practice, Nora is a founding member of Swim Drink Fish Canada, serves on the board of RFA Bank, and has been recognized as a leading lawyer in banking and finance, including Best Lawyers in Canada, Lexpert, the Lexpert Zenith Award, WXNs Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women, and the inaugural Federated Press Women in Law Leadership Award.
