Powell Litigation Welcomes Jan Michael Ramlochan as Director of Operations

Powell Litigation is pleased to announce that Jan Michael Ramlochan, B.Comm, LL.B., has joined the Firm as Director of Operations.

Founded by Weston Powell in 2016, Powell Litigation is a Toronto-based civil litigation firm representing individuals, corporations, and businesses in high-stakes commercial disputes, real estate litigation, employment matters, and estate litigation. As the Firm takes on more work and more complex disputes, it is investing in the operational leadership needed to match that growth with the level of service its clients expect.

Jan Michael brings more than 15 years of experience helping law firms build the operational foundation to grow. His focus is on legal operations strategy and the day-to-day business execution that frees lawyers to concentrate on advocacy, so clients get faster answers, more attention, and a firm built to keep pace with their needs. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from the University of Essex (UK).

In this role, Jan Michael will oversee Powell Litigation’s business operations, giving the Firm’s lawyers the infrastructure to spend more time where it counts: serving clients and advocating for their interests.
