Eyal is a thorough and thoughtful advocate. He brings a careful, analytical approach to complex legal problems.

Eyal is developing a broad litigation practice. Before joining Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb, he gained an understanding of civil procedure and courtroom advocacy as a law clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. There, he worked on a wide range of matters including corporate, estates, and insurance litigation, as well as administrative and public law, Charter issues, and aboriginal law.

Eyal received his J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2025, with a Certificate in Aboriginal Legal Studies. During law school, Eyal excelled as a mooter. He won multiple national and international awards at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, including the Richard Baxter Award for the best applicant memorial in the world. He also spent a semester at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, U.K., where he earned distinction on the Directors’ list and received the Best Student award in World Trade Law.

Eyal has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from McGill University.
