Laila joins Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP as an associate

Laila Azizi is an associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP and practices criminal litigation.

Laila clerked at all three levels of court, serving with Justice Sheilah L. Martin at the Supreme Court of Canada and with Associate Chief Justice J. Michal Fairburn and Justice Gary T. Trotter at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She also clerked at the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto.

Laila was the recipient of the Board of Governors Gold Medal at the University of Windsor, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction and a Master of Arts in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto. During her master’s studies, she was nominated for the John Edwards Award, which recognizes overall outstanding academic performance in the program.
