Beard Winter LLP announces new Partner Jillian Van Allen

Beard Winter LLP is pleased to announce that Jillian Van Allen has joined the partnership effective January 1, 2021. Jillian was called to the bar in 2004 and received her LL.M. in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009. She joined the firm in 2018. Jillian practices in the firm’s Insurance Litigation group with a focus on professional errors and omissions, including repairing and defending matters on behalf of lawyers. She has also acted on behalf of property/casualty insurers in the defence of tort and accident benefits claims, including acting on behalf of accident benefits insurers in loss transfer and priority disputes between insurers. She has many appearances and reported decisions in the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal.
