Christie E. Gibson Joins Cassels Brock
January 11, 2016Christie Gibson is an associate in the Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law Group at Cassels Brock. Her practice encompasses all aspects of municipal, land use planning and environmental law, including tax assessment appeals and expropriations.
Christie’s experience includes representing public and private sector clients before the Ontario Municipal Board, and she has also appeared before the courts.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Christie worked with a boutique urban planning law firm in Toronto practising in the area of development/land use planning, property tax assessment, expropriation and municipal law. Prior to her call to the bar, Christie summered and articled with a large international full service firm in Toronto.
Christie obtained a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University in 2010 and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013. Prior to that, Christie studied in Alberta, India and Australia.
