Crawley MacKewn Brush Welcomes Associate Katarina Wasielewski

Crawley MacKewn Brush LLP is pleased to announce that Katarina Wasielewski has joined the firm as an associate. Katarina’s litigation practice includes complex civil, corporate, securities, investigations and other regulatory matters. She has experience conducting and advising on investigations involving fraud, governance, harassment and workplace related issues across a variety of industries. Katarina has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario and arbitral tribunals.

While in law school, Katarina completed a master’s degree in economics and was awarded the Scarthingmoor MA Essay prize for her thesis focusing on international trade economics. She also competed in a variety of moots during law school, including the Bowman Tax Moot and was awarded best respondent factum in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot. Katarina completed a summer internship with the Competition Bureau as part of the Monopolistic Practices Directorate.

Prior to joining the firm, Katarina was a litigation associate at the Toronto office of an international firm. In that role, she represented clients in a variety of commercial and civil litigation matters, and advised clients on competition law and foreign-direct investment matters.
