Eric Mayzel Joins Cassels Brock as an Associate
September 29, 2010Eric is an associate in our Litigation Group. He carries on a general litigation practice with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Eric worked as both a summer and articling student at the firm. During this time, he worked on a number of significant matters involving contract and franchise disputes, copyright and privacy issues and claims of negligence. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice and gained particular experience assisting with arbitration hearings.
In law school, Eric worked with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Osgoode Business Clinic, and served as the co-president of an extra-curricular association. In the summer of 2007, he studied comparative law at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. Eric received the Samuel Rubinoff Prize in Legal Research and Writing.
