Tanzola has been appointed as our new Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2025. Carissa is the first female to hold this role at Filion and brings a wealth of experience and vision to our firm’s future. As Managing Partner, Carissa will continue to provide a forward-thinking perspective and a steadfast commitment to excellence that will guide us into an exciting future.
With over 17 years of experience in employment and labour law, Carissa has earned a stellar reputation as a trusted advisor, innovative strategist, and advocate for excellence. Joining Filion in 2019, she has been instrumental in further strengthening the firm’s health and safety and workers’ compensation practice.
This leadership transition is an opportunity to reflect on the extraordinary contributions of the past founders and managing partners whose vision and dedication have shaped Filion into the esteemed firm it is today. Each leader has played a vital role in building our legacy of excellence, and we extend special gratitude to James G.
