April 19, 2022Jessica Proskos is an associate at Henein Hutchison LLP, where her practice focuses on criminal and regulatory litigation.
Prior to joining Henein Hutchison LLP, Jessica worked as an associate at a high-volume criminal defence practice in Toronto. She completed her articles as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in the Central West Region.
Jessica received her J.D. from the University of Windsor, where she graduated as Valedictorian. She completed an internship at the International Criminal Court (Appeals Chamber) in the Netherlands after receiving a Social Justice Fellowship. Following that, Jessica participated in the International Criminal Court Moot where her team advanced to the international round. She also worked as a Research Assistant to distinguished professors, in addition to the Community Legal Aid Clinic where she represented low-income clients on a variety of criminal matters.
Jessica obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude. She grew up in Cobourg, Ontario and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association (CLA), Hellenic Canadian Lawyers Association, The Advocates’ Society, and the Toronto Lawyers Association. Jessica is an active member of CLA’s Recent Call Committee and is a mentor at the Women and the Law Mentorship Program for University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
