Hicks Morley Welcomes Fatimah Khan
September 20, 2021Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Fatimah Khan has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office. Fatimah provides advice and representation to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on a wide range of labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes grievance arbitrations, wrongful dismissal actions, human rights and accommodation and employment standards complaints.
Fatimah received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, she was an executive member of Osgoode’s Labour and Employment Law Society, the South Asian Law Students Association and the Osgoode Women’s Network. Fatimah was an elected representative on Student Caucus in which she reviewed policies and proposals for new academic programs and advocated on behalf of students in the Clinical Education and Equality sub-committees.
Prior to law school, Fatimah received both a Bachelor of Arts with high distinction and a Master’s degree in industrial relations and human resources at the University of Toronto.
Fatimah summered and articled with the firm before returning as an associate.
