WeirFoulds LLP is proud to announce that Denise Baker has been appointed Chair of the firm, effective January 1, 2026. Her appointment as Chair reflects WeirFoulds’ commitment to strengthening leadership and driving growth across the firm.

Since 2022, Denise served as Co-Managing Partner at WeirFoulds. With a distinguished career spanning more than 20 years, she has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and success. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Cambridge Forum for Land Use Planning and has held leadership positions including Chair of the Municipal Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. Denise is also a former sessional professor at the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning.
