Wood Bull LLP welcomes Lee English
September 26, 2018Wood Bull LLP is pleased to announce that Lee English has joined our team as an associate. Lee’s practice involves all aspects of land use planning and development law and a broad range of municipal law matters. His experience includes providing advice to municipalities and private sector clients on a broad range of issues including those related to:
- land use and development, including advising on all aspects of the development approval process,
- municipal powers and authority,
- conflict of interest, the acquisition of real property by way of tax sale and expropriation, and
- municipal orders or prosecution directed at private sector clients
Prior to joining Wood Bull LLP, Lee enjoyed a general practice with a focus on municipal and land use planning law at a leading regional law firm in Atlantic Canada. In that context, Lee represented municipalities at various levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador and at the Newfoundland and Labrador municipal appeal board. Lee brings this litigation experience to his municipal and land use practice at the firm.
