Aird & Berlis LLP Announces New partner, Sandra Dos Santos

Sandra is a partner and a member of the Real Estate Group at Aird & Berlis LLP.

Sandra is a partner and a member of the Real Estate Group at Aird & Berlis LLP. She summered at the firm in 2003 and articled at the firm in 2004/05. In September of 2005, she joined the firm as an associate. She became a partner in January of 2014.

Sandra practises in the area of commercial real estate and construction law. Her experience includes acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing transactions, land development, construction financing and procurement. Sandra advises clients on the purchase, sale and finance of commercial, industrial and residential properties including shopping centres, long-term care facilities, hotels and resorts, and office buildings.

Sandra’s leasing experience includes advising landlords and tenants on a variety of leasing matters, such as the leasing of office, commercial and industrial premises, and rooftop solar leases. In her construction law practice, Sandra drafts, negotiates and advises clients with respect to construction contracts. She also advises clients on construction lien matters, and contract claims and disputes.

Sandra represents a wide array of clients including owners, developers, institutional and private lenders and borrowers, real estate investment trusts, municipalities, and post-secondary institutions.
