Anne Sedgwick Joins Baker McKenzie

Anne Sedgwick has joined Baker McKenzie's North America Banking, Finance & Major Projects Practice as Counsel.

Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce that Anne Sedgwick has joined our North America Banking, Finance & Major Projects Practice as Counsel, bringing more than a decade of experience in corporate and real estate transactions. Based in Toronto, she will also be a member of the Firm’s Global Real Estate Practice.

Anne has advised owner-managed businesses, real estate management firms and privately-held corporations on a range of transactions, including acquisition and sale of business and commercial properties, corporate governance, corporate restructurings, commercial loans and mortgages, and commercial leasing. She has also coordinated legal teams in multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Most recently, Anne served as Vice President of Operations & Legal for developer Diamante Development Corporation, where she advised on projects at varying stages in the development process. Prior to gaining valuable in-house experience, Anne worked in private practice for 10 years at a leading Canadian East Coast firm.
