Evan Schmid Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is pleased to welcome Evan to the Tax group.

Evan is returning to Blakes after spending two summers with the Firm and graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School. In law school, he received the Charles E. Woodrow award for academic achievement and graduated with distinction. Prior to law school, he graduated from Dalhousie University, where he was a four-year Academic All Canadian.

While at Osgoode, Evan was a senior case-worker in the Osgoode Small Business Clinic, where he assisted a small business in the entertainment industry with legal concerns. He has also volunteered with the Association in Defence of the Wrongfully Convicted.
