Filion Congratulates New Partner Darren Avery

Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP is pleased to announce that Darren Avery has joined the firm’s partnership. Darren practices in all areas of labour and employment law, as well as related areas such as privacy law, administrative law, and defending individuals and corporations charged with regulatory offences, including charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Darren represents clients of all sizes, from small family-owned businesses to multinational corporations. He also has years of experience assisting public sector clients including hospitals, municipalities, and post-secondary institutions. Darren is a persuasive and effective advocate who has appeared at various levels of court in Ontario, at arbitration hearings, and at various administrative tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Darren is based out of the firm’s office in London.
