We are pleased to announce that Nisha Anand has joined Gilbert’s as its newest partner! Nisha is a scientist-turned-litigator with a doctorate in molecular biology, genetics and cancer, and has a keen interest in the area of biologic drugs. Nisha comes to us from a global law firm based here in Toronto, where she represented pharmaceutical clients in complex multi-jurisdictional patent cases as part of their international litigation team. Nisha also has extensive knowledge related to regulatory aspects of the pharmaceutical industry and patent litigation experience in other industry sectors, including IT and Oil & Gas.
